TALETE: Talenti e Territori
TALETE is an Honours Programme unique at national level. It is targeted to cohorts of selected graduate students from:
- Civil Engineering (LM-23);
- Energy Engineering (LM-30);
- Environmental Engineering (LM-35);
- Architecture and Building Engineering (LM-4 c.u.);
- Environmental Meteorology (LM-75);
- Global and Local Studies (LM-62);
- Organizzazione, Società, Tecnologia (LM-88);
- Metodologia, Organizzazione, Valutazione dei Servizi Sociali (LM-87);
- Sociology and Social Research (LM-88);
- Data Science (LM-DATA);
- European and International Studies (LM-52);
- Management della sostenibilità e del turismo (LM-77);
- Behavioural and Applied Economics (LM-56);
- Global Law Making – GLAM (LM Sc-Giur);
- Giurisprudenza (LMG-01).
It is organised and taught by DICAM (Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering), DSRS and CCI (Center for International Cooperation ) . The main strategic goal of TALETE is to reinforce and qualify the competencies and skills of young graduates, aiming to:
- Integrate the formal MSc curriculum with development cooperation – based methods, tools and approaches, from an intercultural and community-development oriented perspective;
- Support field-based experiences in local territories in different geographical contexts;
- Promote synergies between academia and international developmental organizations;
- Allow participants to increase their “soft skills” (problem solving, analysis, diagnosis, synthesis, planning, time management, active listening, communication, teamwork, adaptation to diversity, stress management).
