The UNESCO Chair in “Engineering for Human and Sustainable Development” was established at the University of Trento in 2011 within the DICAM, Departement of Civil Environmental and Mechanics Engineering.

Contributing to the growth of a new generation of globally responsible and competent engineers, able to effectively use technology and engineering approaches to promote development in its human, environmental and socio-economic dimensions, having local impact in a sustainability perspective
